The performance of the Wireless Powerbank SPC+ is not efficient enough for me. What can I do?Updated 5 months ago

The SPC+ power bank provides up to 10 watts of wireless power with a nominal capacity of 5000mAh. Due to energy losses during inductive charging and varying ambient temperatures, only a portion of the nominal capacity is transferred to the phone.

Factors contributing to energy loss include:

1) Energy Efficiency: Not all energy stored in the power bank can be efficiently transferred to the smartphone. Some energy is lost during charging, and some must remain in the battery to prevent deep discharge.

2) Heat: Current inductive charging technology is about 70-75% efficient. The remaining 25-30% of energy is converted into heat, which can cause the smartphone and charging station to become warm. This is normal during charging.

If you’re experiencing unsatisfactory charging performance, consider the following tips:

  • Set your screen to adaptive brightness.
  • Use offline maps during navigation to reduce data consumption and energy usage.
  • Deactivate background apps.
  • Avoid direct sunlight or use a fan to cool the system.
  • Charge partially with a cable, as wired charging is more efficient.

If charging via cable does not improve speed, the device might be defective. In this case, please contact our customer support for a quick exchange. Provide your order number from our online store, or a proof of purchase and delivery address. Reach our support team at [email protected].
