Does the Charging Anti Vibration Module continue to draw power after the smartphone is removed?Updated 2 months ago

Yes, the Charging Anti Vibration Module continues to draw a small amount of power even after the smartphone has been removed, as it does not have a dedicated on/off switch for technical reasons.

This minimal standby power consumption has no noticeable impact on your vehicle’s battery during normal use — provided you are using a stable 5V/2A power source.

To prevent battery drain after switching off your motorcycle, we generally recommend connecting the Charging Module to the ignition-positive (switched power). For this purpose, we offer our optional Cable 12V DC. This cable features two open ends for connecting to the motorcycle battery and provides a USB-C port for connecting to the Charging Module or Charging Anti Vibration Module.

When connected to the ignition-positive, the power supply is automatically cut as soon as the ignition is turned off — ensuring your system is optimally protected.
